Full Time Accountants

At Vision Accounting, we help put the vision in our clients’ accounting and tax needs. This 20-year-old firm is looking to add two Full-time Accountants to serve our clients. Vision Accounting’s clients include small sole proprietor businesses, restaurants, hotels as well as a variety of other businesses. As a full-time accountant, you would prepare, assist, advise, and educate clients on payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax preparation and much more.

Vision Accounting is looking for two team members with a 4-year accounting degree and/or public accounting experience. Full-time accountants must possess strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax procedures, and business and financial operations.

The ideal Candidate for this position will:

• Communicate with clients and colleagues in a courteous, clear, and confident manner
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely in written form, using proper English, grammar, spelling, & punctuation

Responsibilities include:

1. Communication with clients via face to face, phone calls and e-mails
2. Data entry and reconciliation in QuickBooks
3. Payroll processing and quarterly reports
4. Client accounts payables and receivables
5. Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements
6. Sales tax preparation
7. Preparation of individual and business income taxes
8. Time tracking for billing

While there may occasionally be overtime during tax season, work is normally a consistent 40-hour week. When there is overtime, there will be comp days given to compensate for overtime worked. After a probationary period, schedules can be flexible and a partial work from home arrangement may be an option. We welcome individuals with home management experience seeking to re-enter the workforce.

Salary will be based on education and experience. The expected range is $40,000 - $60,000. Current benefits include retirement, paid vacations, paid sick leave and holiday pay.
